According to a report by The New Indian Express, an official stated that a complaint was filed against the accused by Vishakha Ghadge in connection with the incident that took place on Sunday.
Earlier, Sharma had announced on social media that she would hold a press conference at Parli where she would reveal some information.
Reportedly, when Sharma arrived for her press conference, a large crowd, including women, had gathered near the venue. Police personnel were deployed to maintain law and order at the place. When Sharma's car reached the venue, a group of women protested against her. The slogan, "Don't make false allegations against Dhananjay Munde, he is god for us," was heard.
Ghadge mentioned in the complaint that when the woman gathered to protest against Sharma, Sharma hurled casteist abuses at them.

The Parli Police added that a revolver was recovered from Sharma's car during a search on Sunday. Following the same, Sharma's driver Dilip Pandit was arrested under the Arms Act.
