Delhi Woman Stabbed 16 Times By Contract Killers Hired By Husband: Police

In South Delhi's Malviya Nagar area, a man was arrested for allegedly plotting his wife's murder.

As per the police, the man hired a man who hired his wife 16-17 times on Thursday. The man has been identified as Naveen Guleria. Other than his, two contract killers named Sonu and Rahul have also been arrested by the police. As per reports, the man paid five lakh rupees to the killers for murdering his wife.

The accused reportedly took the blood-soaked body of his wife to the hospital after which the police reached and sent the body for post-mortem, South Delhi DCP Benita Mary Jaiker said.

Delhi Woman Stabbed 16 Times:

The wife's body was first spotted by the accused man's employee to had gone to the couple's home to drop their son at 4:30 pm, the accused claimed during police enquiry. The police during the investigation found a CCTV footage which showed two men entering the house but three men left the house.

The officials then checked the husband's phone records and found that he allegedly had an extra-marital affair with a woman staying in Govindpuri area of Delhi. On the day of the incident the accused had spoken to the woman over phone a number of times.

The police also found fifty thousand cash and another mobile phone in the accused person's two wheeler from which they got to know about the contract killers. The killers were then arrested and the weapon used in the crime was also seized from them, according to reports.

The accused told the police his wife had come to know about his extra-marital affair four months ago following which she became suspicious. This led to the accused planning the murder of his wife, said the police.
