Gym Trainer stalks 100 women: A Delhi based gym trainer was arrested by the police on June 12 for allegedly stalking and harassing more than 100 women on Facebook and other social media platforms and sending obscene messages and videos.

The Delhi police stated that a woman lodged a complaint against the accused, accusing him of stalking and harassment.
According to the complainant, the accused, identified as Vikas Kumar was harassing her by sending obscene messages and stalking her online despite her telling him not to do so. Kumar also blackmailed the survivor saying he knows her personal details.
The 22-year-old trainer made fake IDs to target women, as told by Additional DCP (Southwest) Amit Goel. All his details were found to be forged.
The officer added that the police officials took out the phone number linked to the accused person's account and "tried to trace it but it was with someone else".
As the investigation continued, they found out that the accused used to stay near the complainant's house. They tracked the address and arrested him from his residence.
“We took out the phone number linked to the account and tried to trace it but it was with someone else," said the officer, "Our team then found that the accused lives near the complainant’s house.”
Kumar reportedly confessed during the questioning that he made Facebook accounts posting as a woman to send friend requests to women, according to a report by Indian Express.
The police officer added that the accounts had over 2,000 people on each of the friend's list. He was accused of stalking more than a hundred women. "He would also make video calls to these women and flash them," adding that Kumar had been harassing the complainant for months.
