BS Yediyurappa's Granddaughter Soundarya Found Dead In Her Bengaluru Home

Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's granddaughter Soundarya was reportedly found hanging in her Bengaluru apartment on January 28.

As per reports, in the initial probe, the police have ruled a suicide. Soundarya was a 30-year-old practising doctor in Bengaluru. Many reports stated that she was showing post-pregnancy depression after giving birth to her child who is now four-month-old. More updates are awaited in the case.

BS Yediyurappa Granddaughter Soundarya Found Dead:

Soundarya was born to Yediyurappa's eldest daughter Padma. The news has shocked the family members and the Karnataka BJP. According to reports, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai also rushed to the hosital with other members of his cabinet to console Yediyurappa's family.

The police have been looking for a suicide note possibly left by Soundarya before her death but there is no conformation of it being found. After Soundarya's body was found in her apartment, she was rushed to the hospital but the doctors reportedly declared her brought dead. There is currently a post mortem going on Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital and the results are awaited.

Soundarya used to be practice at the Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru. She married her husband Neeraj, also a doctor, in 2019. The couple had a child together four months ago. They lived in an apartment near Mount Carmel College in Vasanthanagar where Soundarya's body was found. As per reports, the incident came to light when a house help rang the doorbell of the house and Soundarya did not answer. She then called Soundarya's husband Neeraj. The husband reached home and reportedly found Soundarya hanging from the ceiling.

A second-year Master of Dental Surgery student from Moradabad was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her room in October 18, Monday. While an investigation is currently underway in the case, the police suspects it to be a case of suicide, based on initial findings.

The deceased,  Vaishali Chaudhari, was a 25-year-old was a resident of Hapur. According to the Moradabad police, the incident was reported to the police by the university officials. The police are now interrogating the roommates of the deceased and university officials. The deceased woman’s family has also been informed about the incident.
