The Vice-Chairperson of India Today Group, Kalli Purie, has been appointed on the Board of Directors of Broadcast Audience Research Council, India (BARC India). This appointment makes her the only woman member on board of BARC. Purie is the business face of the Indian Today group and credited with the group's focus on digital. She grew through the ranks, after Kalli started working with India Today as a Marketing Executive and a Reporter for their magazine in 1996.
