Ankit showcased his appreciation and gratitude towards his caretaker and cook in the most heartwarming way. He used his prize money which he had won in weekend tournaments and purchased a mobile phone for her. The woman, whose happiness saw no bounds, has been taking care of Ankit since he was six months old. The news was shared by Ankit's father V. Balaji. He shared a picture of Ankit with the house help on X in which Ankit could be seen handing over a new mobile phone to the family's cook.

The photo was captioned as "Ankit has so far earned 7K by playing weekend tournaments. And today he got our Cook Saroja a mobile phone for 2K from his winnings. She has been taking care of him from when he was 6 Months. As parents @meerabalaji3107 and I can't be more happier."

Why This News Seems Hopegiving

The news is indeed proof that some people have not stopped respecting their house help. They have not forgotten that house help plays a crucial role in maintaining a family in India. Otherwise, the news in the past few months told a different story. Almost every month, we come across cases of domestic helpers being abused and assaulted brutally.

The news of a child gifting the family's house help has garnered a lot of love and applause over the internet because it shows how a child can be taught kindness through example. The picture has gone viral with 4.7k likes on 'X'. While some people are sending love to Ankit for his kind gesture, others are praising the parenting of the boy.

One of the users wrote, "Brilliant… u guys as parents deserve an applause. There is nothing better than “To give” to inhibit that to a kid is very very important."
