While the woman seemingly rejected his advances earlier, the man gave the justification of the woman's biological clock ticking due to which she should marry him without second thoughts.

According to the Twitter bio of Deepa Sharma, she is a professional Ayurveda practitioner and calls herself a social activist. She took to the platform to call out the man who harassed her by commenting on her age.

According to the screenshots of the chats which took place between Sharma and the man, he wrote, "Biological clock is ticking. Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock," presumably when she rejected his marriage proposals.

Replying to the same, Sharma pointed out that he himself was three years older than the woman, hence, it was he who should be concerned about the biological clock. "Don't worry about my biological clock," she added.

Shortly after he was blocked from WhatsApp, where the conversation was taking place till now, he switched to offline messages to continue the conversation and said, "Doesn't matter for men. We don't have the pressure of getting pregnant, You are a doctor. You should know that."

In a thread of the tweet, Sharma confirmed, "When I blocked him on WhatsApp, he sent a text msg to show his mardangi"

She further complained about society, stating that it not only pressurises women to get married to anyone and then they are pressurised to get pregnant. However, the same society "raise their son like hell so that they can talk like this."

Sharma lastly retorted the concept of biological clock mattering for women only, and wrote, "Men are forever young".
