Bengali Actor Srabanti Chatterjee Joins BJP Ahead Of State Assembly Election

Srabanti Chatterjee: Famous actor known for her work in Bengali films, Srabnati Chatterjee joined the Bharatiya Janta Party of Monday.

Chatterjee received the welcome honour from BJP's national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargia and Bengal's party president Dilip Ghosh.

Ghosh while talking about her appointment said, "We welcome Srabanti Chatterjee to our party. People from various walks of joined the BJP today. "

Who is Srabanti Chatterjee?

Chatterjee made her debut in Bengali cinema in 1997 in a film named Mayar Badhon, she shared the screen with Rituparna Sengupta and Prosenjit Chatterjee. She then went on to do many films in the Bengal film industry. Her latest web-series named Dujone is soon to be released on OTT platforms, in the series her co-star is Soham Chakraborty. Chatterjee has also been a judge and host for reality tv shows. She has a son named Abhimanyu Chatterjee with her ex-husband Rajiv Kumar Biswas.
