Alia Bhatt and Director Vikas Bahl’s short film called ‘Going Home’ has garnered appreciation from people all across the country, celebrities and fans alike. However, the movie has now found a fan in Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher.

The two and a half man star, has publically spoken on various occasions about women rights. On his Facebook page, he shared the video and wrote, “Wow, Just Wow.” The young actress seemed very pleased and tweeted the screenshot of his Facebook page saying, “Unable to form a sentence due to immense joy.. woohoo.”

The short film is about a young girl driving back home at night. When her car breaks down, she asks five suspicious looking men for help. She approaches them without hesitation and when she is unable to fix the car she asks them to give her a lift back home.

Even though she reaches back home safely, the men are shown continuously trying to touch her and smirking at each other. As she gets out of the car and starts walking inside the screen says this: “Impossible in the real world… Can we give her the world she thinks exists?”

The movie sends a powerful message about the state of women’s safety in India. In the light of India’s poor ranking on the latest Global Gender Gap report, issues like these are bound to be bought up.
