Another feather in the cap for Anna Gazer, the Olympic champion as she lands a cab triple cork. This Austrian snowboarder becomes the first female to do so!
“Usually when I want to try a new trick I know in the morning that I want to try it. Today, was different as the big jump was in good shape. I just went for it without telling anyone, and I stomped it! I’m so stoked! This trick was one of my bigger goals but I didn’t think I’d be able to land it that early in the season!” Anna said in an interview to Redbull.
In Snowboarding, a Cab Triple 1260 accounts for taking off in the switch position with your 'wrong' foot forward, followed by three-and-a-half rotations in the air, and then landing in the forward position.
After performing this historic piece of snowboarding at the pre-season Prime Park sessions at the Stubai glacier in Austria, Anna says, “Today it just felt right and I am happy I ticked that one off my list."

More About Anna Gasser
Anna Gasser started her career in snowboarding in 2010-2011. She was earlier the part of the Austrian National Gymnastics Team before beginning slopestyle in snowboarding. At FIS Snowboarding World Championships 2013 Anna came 18th.
Anna Gazer, the 27-year-old Austrian snowboarder has a previous record of amazing victories. In 2013, she did a cab double 900 kicker. In 2015, she became the first woman to land a competition cab double underflip. Defeating USA's Jamie Anderson, Gazer claimed the gold medal in the first-ever women's Olympic big air event.
