The Havas Group has recently elevated Anita Nayyar to the position of CEO Havas Media Southeast Asia. In this newly created role, Nayyar will be reporting to Vishnu Mohan, chairman and CEO of Havas Group, India & Southeast Asia. She will take on the new responsibilities in addition to her role as CEO of Havas Media India with immediate effect.
According to the advertising company, the appointment comes in the wake of an accelerated growth strategy in the region. It aims to tap Nayyar’s expertise to enable brands in India to expand their presence in Southeast Asia and facilitate cross fertilisation of clients.
“Nayyar’s experience is an asset that will help us move ahead in that direction. determination and passion is a testament to Havas Group India’s success and growth over the years and I am confident that her elevation will enhance the value-proposition of our established SEA media operations,” said chairman Vishnu Mohan.

Career With Havas
Nayyar first joined Havas in 2007 as CEO of Havas Media India. She has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has been instrumental in expanding Havas’ footprint in South Asia markets -- Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
“The ASEAN markets and the overall SEA region is a pivotal market of the future for brands across a range of verticals and the possibilities for growth are endless. Background
In her existing role, Nayyar led media and creative divisions. She has been a prominent speaker, moderator, panellist and judge at several major events. Nayyar holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and has done her Post Graduation in Advertising and Marketing with a Masters in Management.
