1. Nehme said that she had taken a ticket to Brazil via Qatar, and when she went to board her flight back home, an airline staffer stopped her saying that she was restricted from the flight.

2. The airline asked Nehme to take an executive class ticket instead which she refused. While her sister and nephew flew back to Brazil, she and her mother were stranded at the airport. The duo stayed back because the airline refused to fly them until they upgraded their ticket. According to reports, while the airline offered to refund the 830 euros amount she had paid for her seat, they asked her to pay additional 2,480 Euros for a first-class ticket as it had bigger seats.

3. After Nehme's video went viral, a lot of social media users came in her support and demanded strict action against the airline. Nehme filed a complaint at the Court stating that she was mentally harassed by the staff's rude behaviour. She said the staff clearly called her 'fat' in a completely negative tone and made her feel like a monster in doing so.

4. After listening to all narratives, Judge Renata Martins de Carvalho ruled in favour of Nehme and demanded that the airline pay for all her therapy sessions that she would be taking to recover from the trauma she faced at the hands of the staff.

5. The airline will now pay for the model's psychotherapy so she can cope with the distress they caused her. The Court hearing, which took place in Sao Paolo, directed the company to deposit a total of 3,000 Euros which makes up for 63 Euro per session.
