Actor Zarina Roshan Khan From Kumkum Bhagya Passes Away At The Age Of 54

Zareena Roshan Khan played the role of a grandmother, fondly known as Indu Daadi in the famous Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya.

Veteran actor Zarina Roshan Khan passed away at the age of 54. Khan who was popularly known as Indu Suri or Indu Daasi from the serial Kumkum Bhagya suffered a cardiac arrest that took her life. Her co-stars took to social media to mourn the loss and to pay their tribute to the late actor.

Actor Shabir Ahluwalia, who played Abhi Mehra in the serial, shared a selfie with the actor and wrote, “ Ye Chand Sa Roshan Chehera,” the lyrics of an evergreen Hindi song.

Another co-star, actress Sriti Jha aka Pragya from Kumkum Bhagya mourned her loss, she posted a picture with the late actor along with a broken heart.

Anurag Sharma, who is also part of the show, told TOI, "Yes, it's true. The news is very shocking. She was a sweet lady, full of life. Even at this age, she was so energetic. I have seen someone like her, she was a very person. I think she worked as a stunt woman at the beginning of her career and she was exactly like a fighter in real life. I shot with her last month and we had a good time. She was all fine, but suddenly this news came today in our group. I pray her soul rests in peace."

Zarina Roshan Khan played the role of a grandmother, fondly known as Indu Daadi in the famous Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya from the very beginning of the show in 2014. Even after six years, the show has managed to be a top performer on the TRP charts. The actor has also performed in serials like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and played the role of a mother in several Hindi films. She started her career as a stunt woman.

Apart from her co-stars' several netizens and fans gave their tribute to her through Instagram. One of her fans shared a video clip from the serial and wrote, "Indu Daasi (Zareena Roshan Khan Ma'am) warmed our hearts with extreme joy all these years. We'll treasure her cheerful persona for a long time to come."
