Award-winning journalist Katherine Creag, who worked with NBC network in New York, died an untimely death on Wednesday night (February 10). She was 47. The nature of her death is yet to be revealed but WNBC channel reported on February 11 that she passed away suffering from a medical condition. Creag was married to Bill Gafner for 14 years. But who is Katherine Creag's husband Bill Gafner?
1. Creag, a Filipino-American, and Gafner were married since 2006. Gafner's parents are Marcia and George Gafner.
2. Together they have three young children — two daughters named Gemma and Josephine, and a son named Jackson, reported Distractify. As she leaves behind a husband and three children, Gafner will now raise their kids in their Manhattan apartment.
3. Gafner is also a news reporter for WNBC in New York City.
4. Creag, who had been working for WNBC in New York City since 2011, was married to this Central New York native who worked at ION trading, a London-based company that develops software for financial institutions till August 2020. He developed new products for ION Trading's New York office.
5. The 48-year-old previously worked at Aurora Software and at Merrill Lynch, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a 1993 graduate of BSc. Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
