Kapil Sharma sheds his comic side to put forth some serious acting chops as a family man struggling to make ends meet. The trailer also reveals him as someone drowned in patriarchal social norms for he cannot bear the thought that his wife might earn more than him. The clip features Goswami making every effort to change his mind, and insisting on letting her work. Watch the trailer here.

On the other hand, Sharma’s popular comedy show is currently on hiatus as the host and his team were on a tour in USA and Canada. The show’s team recently announced that they looking for new actors to join the cast of the show, writes The Indian Express.

Meanwhile, the Contemporary World Cinema section features the world premieres of films by European auteurs such as Sparta by Ulrich Seidl and Winter Boy by Christophe Honoré. The selection boasts other world premieres (Carlos Vermut's Manticore, Klaus Hӓrӧ's My Sailor, My Love, Wang Xiaoshuai's The Hotel and Emir Baigazin's Life, among others), as well as international premieres (Carolina Cavalli's Amanda, coming straight from Venice's Orizzonti Extra section, and Gunnar Vikene's War Sailor) and North American premieres of films coming from the main European festivals.

"Through an ambitious program of more than 50 films, audiences will have the opportunity to engage with the exciting directions in which cinema can lead our understanding of a wide range of topics and human experiences,” said international programmer Diana Cadavid.
