Titled The Kerala Story, it emerged as an unexpected success, grossing Rs 242.20 crore at the box office. Now, The Kerala Story is set to make its debut on the streaming platform Zee5. Starring Adah Sharma in a prominent role, this critically acclaimed film is scheduled to premiere on February 16.

The film's narrative revolves around a group of women hailing from Kerala who are coerced or deceived into converting to Islam, subsequently joining the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Sharma portrays the role of a Hindu woman from Kerala who undergoes indoctrination into Islam and is dispatched to Syria. There, she is compelled to become part of the ISIS terrorist organisation and subjected to torment.
