Yami Gautam starrer A Thursday release date has been announced for 2022. The shooting of the film is completed and it is almost ready to release. The film will mark Yami's first Hindi film in 2022.
Gautam was last seen in Disney + Hotstar's Bhoot Police in September 2021 along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor. She was also a part of the Punjabi film Shava Ni Girdhari Lal that released on Amazon Prime Video in December 2021. Now the actor is ready to start 2022 with a new film A Thursday.
A Thursday Release Date:
A Thursday is a Behzad Khambata directorial and a Ronnie Screwvala production that will also star actors Dimple Kapadia and Neha Dhupia. The shooting for the movie started last year and Yami was a part of it. She took a small break in view of her wedding with Uri director Aditya Dhar on June 4, 2021. She allegedly resumed shooting for the film soon after her marriage.
The shooting wrapped up in July 2021 and was announced by Gautam herself through her Instagram where she posted a video thanking her team of A Thursday. The movie was announced by makers in September 2020 and Gautam also announced the same on Instagram and now the movie is all set to release soon. The makers reportedly have decided for A Thursday release date to be February 17. The movie will release on Disney+ Hotstar.
Meanwhile Yami has two other films in her bag. One being an Aditya Dhar production titled Dhoom Dhoom opposite Pratik Gandhi that talks about the beauty of Mumbai. It is scheduled for a March release. The other one is OMG 2, the sequel of popular 2012 film starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. Gautam will star opposite Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar in OMG 2.
