Taapsee Pannu is set for another female centred powerful role in Rashmi Rocket in 2021. The question many are asking - is Rashmi Rocket a real person on which the film is based? The story is based on a young girl from Gujarat who expressed an ambition to become a runner. As the story progresses, Rashmi then gets an opportunity to learn on real tracks, in real sporting arenas and fulfil her dreams.

The film is  the story of a young girl Rashmi with big dream to run fast and be part of athletic contests. The village girl wants to be a sportswoman and take part in competitions at big stadiums and race in front of spectators. Just what does it take - that's the focus of the film.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya, the sports-drama is expected to release sometime in 2021.

Taapsee Panu, well known for her role in Thappad,  took to Instagram and shared an intriguing picture in which she showcased her muscular physique- while running on a sprinter's track. Pannu is prepping for Rashmi Rocket after which she takes on Looop Lapeta, touted to be the remake of Run Lola Run.

Pannu has been training for the film, with solid workout sessions and special drinks for nutrition. Taapsee wrote on Instagram, “This fat-burning powerhouse of a drink has raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with the mother…Along with it are fenugreek (methi), turmeric, and ginger.”
