Who Is Neena Kulkarni? Lead Actor In Marathi Film Photo-Prem

Indian actor Neena Kulkarni, often seen in motherly roles, is going to be seen in the Amazon Prime Original film Photo Prem, which displays her in the role of a camera-shy woman who wants a perfect picture for her to be framed after her death.

Kulkarni's character, Maee will be hit by a realisation amidst her struggles to click a perfect picture of her herself, that is, she has no identity of herself. Maee is a typical Indian grandmother who ventures into a life-changing journey of self-identity and self-exploration.

The veteran actor said that the film deserves to be reach audiences across the length and breadth of the country, beyond Marathi speaking viewers. It will be released on May 7 on Amazon Prime.

"The quintessential story of Maee in PhotoPrem is one which deserves to be showcased as widely as possible. It is a movie for everyone and I hope it will be showered with the same quantum of love with which we made it," she said.

Who Is Neena Kulkarni?

• The 65-year-old actor started her career with Marathi films professionally and Hindi films experimentally. Along with her career in acting, she is a professional model who has worked in major fashion shows.
• The actor has a graduation degree in Arts from Elphistone college in Mumbai after completing her schooling at Canossa High School in Mumbai.
• Recently appearing in Medium Spicy, Kulkarni is mostly known for her MograPhulaalaa role of 2019, Kajol Devgan starrer Devi of 2020, Bioscope from 2015 and Sharyat from 2011.
• Some of her award-winning works include Mahasagar, Akasmat, Dhyani Mani, Vatvat Savitri, Dehabhaan, Prem Patra and Chaapa Kaata.
• Neena Kulkarni started her career in the 1970s and has been one of the known faces in the industry ever since. Her Television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein recently completed 6 years of streaming.
