Who is Karima Adebibe? The English actor and model recently welcomed her first child with musician and partner Stephen Paul Manderson, who is popular as Professor Green. This is the first baby for both Adebibe and Manderson, who said they had a "magical week" in the days leading up to their new family member's arrival.

Introducing the world to her son Slimane Ray Manderson on Instagram, Adebibe wrote he was born March 15, alongside a photo post of him. Elaborating on the significance of his birth date, she said, "This date was once considered the new year... it was the day Julius Caesar was murdered by Cassius and Brutus. Cassius was actually on my baby list for names, I thought it was a sign (any link to Cleopatra and I’m sold)."

Manderson, meanwhile, in a post dedicated to his son on Instagram, wrote, "I’ve always said ‘the only way to be on time is to be early’; it’s nice to see you taking after me already, though you seem to have inherited your Mum’s looks... Privately we’ve endured what so many parents-to-be have, your journey to us wasn’t a straight line whatsoever, it was a rollercoaster right up to your arrival."

As per the parents' posts, the baby boy arrived earlier than he was due.

Karima Adebibe, also known as Karima McAdams, hails from East London and is a film actor noted for her role as Sush Club Maitre in the Robert Downey Jr-starrer Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Her film debut came in 2004 with a small role in film Alien vs. Predator. On television, she has been playing the role of Leyla in Deep State since 2018.

Adebibe is most prominent for playing the seventh Lara Croft model in the video game Tomb Raider. She prepared for the role with training in martial arts and played her till 2008.
