Who Is Jesse Light? Jon Bon Jovi’s Son Engaged To TV Producer, Shares On Instagram

Jesse Bongiovi, Jon Bon Jovi’s son, proposed to his girlfriend, television producer Jesse Light, this weekend at his East Hampton home in front of his rocker dad and her family.

The Livin' On A Prayer rocker was present with family and the celebrations continued at the swanky Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York. An onlooker told Page Six: “The staff brought out a couple of giant magnums and everyone was clapping."

Who Is Jesse Light?

Bongiovi, 27, is the co-founder of the wine brand Hampton Water, while Light is the producer of the show Forever Summer Hamptons on Amazon Prime. The couple first in New York on Labor Day in 2018.

Light is the Director of Development for New York-based production company Haymaker East Content.

Bella, the couple’s dog, was reportedly among the group when they piled into two SUVs and were later seen celebrating their engagement on the balcony of the uber-hip Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York.

Meanwhile, Bongiovi's brother Jake, 20, is dating Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown. Neither of the two teens has yet to comment publicly on the status of their relationship. Jake, who describes himself as an actor on social media, sent his best wishes to the couple from London.

Meanwhile, Bongiovi along with his father has produced four vintages of Hampton Water with Gérard Bertrand, a trailblazing winemaker in France’s Languedoc region.

“We wanted to create something that captured the times we cherished the most,” said Bongiovi, who spent time in southern France with his dad and Bertrand to work on blending and learn about harvesting and winemaking. “And we realised we created a unique blend.”

The singer and songwriter, known for such hits as You Give Love a Bad Name and Livin’ on a Prayer, half-jokingly calls himself “an employee of my son,” who is the driving force behind Hampton Water, along with his friend Ali Thomas. The wine’s name comes from a quip from Bongiovi that rosé, a favourite drink of his dad, is in fact the water of the Hamptons, where the family has a home.
