When Is Comedy Series Space Force Season 3 Coming Out?

Space Force Season 3 Release Date: Netflix comedy series Space Force Season 2 was released on the OTT platform on February 18, 2022. The series follows the story of a group of people tasked with establishing the US Space Force, the sixth branch of the armed services. The show has been receiving mixed reviews as the critics state that humour in the comic series remains hit and miss.

Netflix comic series Space Force had been renewed for the second season in November 2020 after Season 1 came out in May 2020. The Space Force cast includes actors Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Jimmy O. Yang among others.

The first season of Space Force received mixed reviews with a 39% Rotten Tomatoes rating. The show had been appreciated for the star-studded cast yet it wasn't enough to keep up the comic element in the series. While the second season amassed a fair rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

While Space Force Season 1 included ten episodes, Season 2 was a seven-part series *spoiler alert* which ended with the team trying to rescue the base as it gets hijacked.

Expected Cast

If the series is renewed for another season, the audience can expect to see Steve Carell as General Mark Naird, Lisa Kudrow as Naird's wife Maggie, since she had very less screen time on Season 2 along with John Malkovich as Dr. Adrian Mallory, Diana Silvers as Erin Naird, and Tawny Newsome as Captain Angela Ali among other prominent cast.

Space Force Season 3 Release Date

While the second season of Space Force just came out, there has been no renewal news of the series as of yet. Netflix is supposedly waiting to gather reviews from the audience to see if they wish the series to continue. If there are any possibilities for a Space Force Season 3, the audience shouldn't expect for its return until late 2023 or early 2024.
