Vikrant Massey Breaks Silence On Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Cockroach’ Comment

Vikrant Massey cockroach remark: Actor Vikrant Massey, whom industry colleague Kangana Ranaut alluded to as a 'cockroach' in Yami Gautam's wedding photos, has finally reacted to the controversy it stirred. 

In one of Yami Gautam's wedding pictures, where she was in an all-red outfit, traditional bangles, and kaleeras, Massey had jokingly commented, “Pure & Pious like Radhe Maa!” This didn’t go well with Ranaut who responding to his comment, the actress wrote, “Kahan se nikla ye cockroach..lao meri chappal”. More on the controversy here. 

Massey, who will next be seen in Vinil Mathew's Haseen Dillruba, along with Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane finally reacted to Ranaut's 'cockroach' comment in a recent interview. 

“I don’t pay attention to all these things. I try to very consciously negate toxicity in my life. That’s why I don’t go to Twitter much and I have been very vocal about it. That is one of the worst public discourse platforms that we have. But individually, I generally don’t tend to pay attention to these things," the actor said.

"So, to wrap it up I will quietly quote one of my favourite writers Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. You really pray for the ignorant. The only thing you can do for the ignorant and unaware is to pray for better sense and wish them the best in life," he added. 

Kangana Ranaut before being banned from Twitter used to get engaged in a war of words with other actors on a regular basis. Her spats with Taapsee Pannu made many headlines. From Kangana lashing out at Taapsee for not mentioning her while sharing the teaser of Judgemental Hai kya, calling her SHE-Man, a B-Grade actor and a ‘Sasti copy’ to Pannu calling Ranaut ‘irrelevant,’ they have given it back to each other time and again.
