The Handmaid's Tale Season 5 Premiered, Netizen are Impressed

The dystopian drama's fifth season, The Handmaid's Tale, is currently streaming on Hulu. On September 14, the first two episodes were released, and they showed June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) coming to terms with her involvement in the murder of Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes). As tension between Serena Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) and the former handmaid appears to be about to boil over, she puts on quite a show at her husband's funeral.

The Handmaid's Tale, which is based on Margaret Atwood's book of the same name and was adapted for television by Bruce Miller, has long been a satire on how women have both supported and opposed patriarchy. Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale debuted on Hulu with a double premiere, but it will now only be released once each week.
