The Handmaid's Tale season 5 release is expected in 2022. Since its announcement in December 2021, fans have been looking forward to the upcoming season of the series. The birthing slaves' traumas, tears, resistance, torment, and agony will soon return to the digital screen.

The popular Hulu dystopian TV series The Handmaid's Tale has prompted people all over the world to reconsider and comprehend the effects of repressive and toxic patriarchy on women's lives, as it depicts a fictional world in which women's roles are reduced to being captured and raped for their reproductive abilities.

The Handmaid's Tale premiered on Hulu in 2017 and depicted the problems and struggles of women in post-Civil War America. After America's reproduction rates plummeted, society began to treat women as child-bearing slaves or handmaids for wealthy upper-class households.

June Osborne(Elisabeth Moss), who works as a handmaid for Gileadan Commander Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and Serena Joy(Yvonne Strahovski), his way, is the protagonist of the show. While attempting to flee Gilead with her husband and daughter, June was apprehended and sold into slavery. June's yearning and fight to reunite with her family is depicted in the story, which is set against a backdrop of physical and mental torment.

The Handmaid's Tale season 5 Release Updates:

Because filming for Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale has not yet begun, the release date is expected to be pushed back. Unfortunately, there is no official date for when The Handmaid's Tale will return to our screens as of March 2022. However, it's expected that the show will resume production in Ontario, Canada, where it was shot. Brantford is one of the numerous places in the Ontario area where the show has previously filmed.

As per multiple reports published, the shooting is set to take place in March 2022. After the shoot, there will be post-production work, which will push the series' premiere date to roughly December 2022 or the first few months of 2023. That is, however, an assumption, and the makers of the series may take time to release the series.
