Kundlis have always been the villain in love stories in Indian cinema. They have always played an important role in deciding the future of a married couple and keeping the main leads apart using different types of kundlidosh. That is exactly what Munnes Yadav suffers from. First he had trouble finding a partner to marry and the moment he did, a random kundli dosh became a hurdle and the only way out is marrying another girl and breaking it later. The Great Weddings Of Munnes Trailer Out

The show features the story of Munnes and Mahi. Munnes is looking for a bride and has been through many rejections because of his looks. In other words, he is a 'bachelor by girl's choice'. Meanwhile, Mahi is a friend of Munnes and is single. Her father tells Munnes' parents that he is looking for a man with whom her kundli matches. The wedding is fixed and as they reach the mandap, a priest stops them and tells Munnes that the marriage would work only if he marries another girl first and breaks it.

Initiating a series of comical events, the entire family tries to find a girl who is ready to marry Munnes and divorce him later. From ghosts to funerals, they go through many bizarre situations to find a solution. The show is directed by Sunil Subramani and Raaj Shandaliya, who is famous for Dream Girl, will serve as the producer. The series features actor Barkha Singh in the role of Mahi while Banerjee plays the role of Munnes.

The show will start streaming exclusively on Voot Select from August 4 and consist of ten episodes. Along with Abhishek Banerjee and Barkha Singh, the show also stars Aakash Dabhade, Chetan Sharma, Banwari Jhol, Paresh Ganatra, Sunita Rajwar and Sunil Chitkara in pivotal roles.
