'Stranger Things' 4 Volume 2 Trailer Out; Reveals Crucial Details On Characters' Fate

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 trailer was released on June 21 and the internet is running rampant with theories and predictions. Volume 1, consisting of the first seven episodes of season 4 released on May 27. Volume 2 consisting of episodes eight and nine will release on July 1.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 trailer amassed more than a million views on YouTube. The trailer shows Millie Bobbie Brown’s character Eleven attempting to return to Hawkins to protect her friends while Dr Brenner insists that she is not ready and that “Hawkins will fall." As the music intensifies, the villain Vecna gives ominous warnings that “It is over” and that “Your friends have lost”.

Season 4 volume 1 ended on a cliffhanger and revealed that the main villain, Vecna, had been sent into the Upside Down by Eleven, thus opening a gateway between the dimensions. Nancy and Steve were last seen trapped in the Upside Down and Nancy had been possessed by Vecna.

After Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 trailer was released, fans of the show are both excited for Hopper and Joyce's relationship after their reunion while remaining terrified about the fate of the beloved characters. A Twitter user stated that when the cast described season 4 as the "darkest season", they were not lying and added, "I'm truly scared".

Everything Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer Reveals

• Nancy Wheeler, played by Natalia Dyer, was last seen possessed by Vecna and trapped in the Upside Down in Volume 1. The ">trailer showed Nancy in a van with the other characters, no longer possessed nor trapped in the Upside Down.
  
  Users also saw Nancy once again wielding a gun, as she did in the previous seasons.
• Erica Sinclair, portrayed by Praih Ferguson. She had started off as a recurring character and was promoted to the main cast from season 3. While she was involved in the main plot in season 3, the trailer for volume 2 shows her taking a more active role in the battle against creatures from Upside Down.
• The characters in Hawkins were seen gearing up to fight Vecna and were armed and armoured up for the upcoming fight.
• Will Byers was giving an ominous warning regarding Vecna and saying, “He’s not going to stop. Not until he’s taken, everyone." Will spent weeks trapped in the Upside Down and was possessed by one of the creatures, named Mind Flayer in season 2.
  
  His experiences and possession lead to him giving important information regarding the creature from Upside Down, and it seems that Will once again has a connection with Upside Down.
• The entire trailer leads up to the battle between Eleven and Vecna, as Eleven has regained her powers and tries to save the lives of her friends.
