After the police fail to act, she takes matters into her own hands and incurs retribution on the offenders. English Vinglish

This movie was groundbreaking and lovable in every way. Even though Sridevi played Seema, a crucial character to the story, Anil Kapoor played the superhero in the film.  The Salim-Javed team wrote the screenplay and story for the movie, which starred Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri. This was their final project together before they parted. The main character is Arun Verma (Anil Kapoor), a charitable street musician who is given a masking technology that makes him invisible. He meets journalist Seema Sohni (Sridevi) while renting out his home to pay off his debts and develops feelings for her.

Sadma

When the movie was filmed, Sridevi had only appeared in one other film, yet the audience never noticed. She portrays the main character, a woman who has retrograde amnesia and acts like an 8-year-old child as a result. She played the part with the utmost purity and sensitivity, and in several moving sequences, she brought viewers to tears.
