See You At The Movies: Alia Bhatt Wraps Up Shooting Of Darlings

Darlings Movie: Actor Alia Bhatt took to her official Instagram account on September 7 to announce the wrap of her upcoming release Darlings. The film also marks writer Jasmeet K Reen's directorial debut along with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

Bhatt posted a reel shot during the shooting of the film and captioned it as, "Darlings, it's a wrap!! We have done our best to make a film that we are hoping you will love! See you at the movies." The reel captured behind the scene moments from the sets of Darlings.

The post garnered over 3,90,000 likes in less than 5 hours of being posted.

Fans flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations and red heart emojis.

Touted to be a dark comedy, Darlings also features Shefali Shah (Delhi Crime fame), Vijay Verma and Roshan Mathew (Kappela fame) in pivotal roles apart from Alia Bhatt.

Set in Mumbai, the film revolves around the backdrop of a conservative middle-class neighbourhood. It narrates the lives of two women as they find courage and love in unusual circumstances.

Verma also shared the same reel on his social media and added that he had a great time working on the movie. He wrote in a Tweet, "It was incredible fun working with this crew and I'm going to miss being around them" and added that the short video was a sneak peek at what it was like on the sets. Verma gained massive appreciation for his appearance in the OTT series Mirzapur along with Pankaj Tripathi.

Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali helmed Gangubai Kathiawadi. Next, she will also appear at SS Rajamouli's RRR, Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Brahmastra, along with Ranbir Kapoor.
