Sameera Reddy, who had recovered from COVID-19 at the end of April, shared the tips that she found useful for post-COVID-19 recovery.

The actor listed down the things that helped her and also encouraged others to share their views on their own recovery tips. Reddy had announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19 on her Instagram stories in mid-April. Her family except her mother-in-law had tested positive for COVID-19. This also included her two kids six-year-old Hans Varde and two-year-old Nyra Varde.

The actor-turned-influencer shared routine updates about the symptoms her children face and how she dealt with them. Reddy also held a Q & A with Dr Nihar Parekh discussing the topic of COVID and kids. On April 30, 2021, Sameera Reddy announced on Instagram that her family and herself have tested COVID-19 negative.

Post-COVID-19 Recovery Tips

In her recent post, Sameera Reddy shared a list of things that helped her in the journey of recovery from the weakness that COVID-19 leaves a person with. The actor-turned-influencer further encouraged everyone to allow time to heal above everything else.

  • She recommends consuming dates, and dry fruits like almonds and raisins which are soaked overnight.
  • Further, Reddy lists coconut water, amla or lime juice and fresh fruits too.
  • She advised against consuming refined or processed foods.
  • Further, Sameera recommended the consumption of Jaggery and Ghee after meals and also wholesome foods like pulse, khichdi with veggies.
  • Reddy emphasized the importance of getting rest and sleep and also recommended controlling the screen time before sleeping
  • Pranayama , shravasana and deep breathing was also listed.
  • Reddy also mentioned slow walks instead of intense workouts and taking sunlight for 15 minutes.
