Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's wedding has been the subject of much discussion for a while, but the date has finally been made public. They were supposed to marry in 2020 however, after almost 2.5 years the couple is now ready to wed.
The actor-couple revealed in 2020 that they were in a relationship and were planning to wed in April of that year. The COVID-19 outbreak, however, prompted a postponement. Richa Chadha, meanwhile, confirmed her wedding to a news outlet last month. She said, "I think shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se (We'll tie the knot this year in some way.) We are excited to marry, but we also want to be responsible and are just concerned about COVID." She added, "We don't want to make the headlines for the wrong reasons. Plus, once things started to happen and work picked back up, we've both become really busy. "

After much speculation, Chadha has officially announced her impending wedding details and confirmed it to be in October. She shared a GIF, with the text "New Life Loading," on Thursday, September 15 on social media. She added the caption as, "Can’t wait for October."
The actors are all ready to celebrate their nuptials with celebrations in Delhi and Mumbai at the end of September and the first week of October. The pre-wedding celebrations will start on September 30 and go for three days at the Delhi Gymkhana, according to Pinkvilla's sources. On October 1, there will be Sangeet and Mehendi. On October 2, Fazal and Chadha will also have a wedding celebration for their extended family and friends.
The star couple will go to Mumbai for the remaining celebrations after three days of festivities in Delhi. The pair will exchange vows in a small ceremony on October 6 in a rented villa in Mumbai, followed by a lavish banquet for their Bollywood friends on October 7 at the South Mumbai hotel.
