Rakul Preet Unveils The First Look Of Her Character In Krish Jagarlamudi's Konda Polam

Actor Rakul Preet Singh will soon be seen in Krish Jagarlamudi's upcoming Telugu movie Konda Polam.

Singh took to social media to reveal the first look of her character. The movie also features Panja Vaisshnav Tej and is set  to release on October 8 this year.

On Monday, August 23, actor Rakul Preet Singh took to Twitter to share her first look posters as Obulamma from Konda Polam. She will be playing a de-glam role in this Krish Jagarlamudi directorial. In the poster, we see Preet's close up with what appears to be a valley in the background. The background also features cattle and shepherds. Reported to be an adventurous movie, major portions of it were shot in the forests of Vikrabad in Telangana.

Sharing the Telugu and English versions of the poster, Preet Singh said, "Here she is #OBULAMMA - my most loved character a shepherd girl of unbelievable bravery, charisma, and a beautiful understanding of love & life! Hope u like it." The movie's tagline states that it is "An epic tale of 'Becoming'".

Preet Singh's co-star, Panja Vaisshnav Tej too shared the first look on Instagram, with the caption, "Meet my #OBULAMMA @RakulPreet -an exquisite witty brave shepherd girl with a soulful understanding of love, life & #Kondapolam
#KondaPolamOnOct8th."

Tej revealed his character Kataru Ravindra Yadav on Aug 20. Sharing the poster on Instagram, he said, "Kataru Ravindra Yadav KONDAPOLAM - An Epic Tale of 'Becoming' Thanks @rakulpreet."

Rakul Preet Singh started her career as a model at the age of 18 while still in college. She made her debut as an actor with the Kannada movie Gilli in 2009. Later, she appeared in several Tamil and Telugu films. Preet Singh made her debut in Bollywood with Divya Khosla Kumar's Yaariyan.
