Parvathy Pens Heartfelt Note As Her Film Uyare Completes Two Years

Actor Parvathy on Monday took to social media to share her delight over the two year anniversary of her film Uyare.

She shared a picture of her character and wrote in her caption, wrote a heartfelt note to mark the second anniversary of her film, Uyare. Parvathy expressed her gratitude towards her fans and the team of Uyare. She wrote, "Two years since Uyare released. I remember the day of release like yesterday. I was not prepared for the kind of love and acceptance this movie received from the audience"

She said that she is grateful for the stories people shared with her, "For each and every review, each and every experience you all shared with me, for your stories of rising from the ashes! I am so grateful!"

The film Uyare released on April 16, 2019, and was applauded for narrating the story of an acid-attack survivor. Parvathy played the role of a female character named Pallavi who wanted to become a commercial pilot. Her boyfriend came in the way of her dreams and attempted to stop her from following her path. When Pallavi decides to break things off and end the toxic relationship she shared with her boyfriend, he throws acid on her face.

The story then portrays how Pallavi overcame her struggles, and her fight for justice in order to be able to fulfil her dreams of becoming a pilot.

Parvathy in her caption added, "To all the survivors of acid attack who so generously shared their worlds with me so I could do justice to Pallavi. To the entire team of Uyare! what an incredible journey this has been!" The film was directed by Manu Ashokan who received widespread appreciation as it was his directional debut. The screenwriters of the film are Bobby and Sanjay.

Other than Parvathy, the film has Asif Ali and Tovino Thomas as the cast members. Uyare is now streaming on Netflix.
