The newest actor to join the cast is Soha Ali Khan. She wrote on Instagram, "Thrilled to share with all of you that I will be entering the Chhorri universe in a truly unique role." According to reports, Chhorii 2 will continue Bharuccha's character, Sakshi's story where the previous movie left off and will include fresh horrors as well as the returns of several important characters.

After the success of Chhorii, the actor is honoured to now star in a franchise with a female lead. She stated, "This doesn't occur frequently. We were kind of given room to make Chhorii into a franchise since people liked and spoke about it. Of course the director, producer, and actors want to make money from the movie they produce. Nobody wants to create a movie to be in loss, right? Part 2 was made possible by the fact that everyone enjoyed the first movie. The team is feeling great right now." The actor added, "there’s a whole new excitement to do it again. I am very grateful for it."

The actor has upcoming female-driven movies, including Chhorri and Akelli. She also has Selfie, which stars Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, and Diana Penty in lead roles.
