Ali Fazal Preps For Role In Mirzapur Season 3, Fans Excited For Release

The show was produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment.  The Prime Video series first premiered in 2018. The second season, which was released in 2020, was one of the most watched shows in India.

Mirzapur 3 release date
Popular Indian online serial, Mirzapur has gained worldwide attention. The show’s producers say that the third season will premiere shortly. According to the sources, it is expected that Mirzapur Season 3 will be released by the end of 2022. Mirzapur’s last two episodes had been so enthralling and intriguing for the audience that it was India’s most popular web series for many months after getting released.

Indian actor Ali Fazal, who was paid 12 lakhs rupees for each episode of Mirzapur, had topped the salary of the Mirzapur 2 cast. Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Guddu Pandit in the web series, streaming on Amazon Prime Original, said on Thursday that he had begun prepping and rehearsing for the much-awaited third season of the crime drama series.

The gangster, Guddu Pandit, played by the 36-year-old Ali Fazal, revealed on Instagram that he was excited to begin prepping for Mirzapur season 3. 

Also featureing Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, in the lead together with Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma, Sheeba Chaddha, Manu Rishi Chadha and Rajesh Tailang, Mirzapur’s second season also introduced new characters, played by actors in the likes of Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli and Isha Talwar.

The series was mostly filmed across Uttar Pradesh, primarily shot in UP’s Mirzapur and many other locations including Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. Sanjay Kapoor was the cinematographer, with Manan Mehta and Anshul Gupta editing the series. The background score was composed by John Stewart Eduri. Soon enough, the show eventually became the most popular web series followed by Sacred Games.

The second season of Mirzapur was released on 23 October 2020 and renewed for a third one in 2020 by Amazon Prime Video. The premise of the show revolves around Akhandanand Tripathi who is a millionaire carpet exporter and the mafia don of Mirzapur. His son, Munna, is hungry for power to stop at nothing for inheriting his father's legacy. The show is all about a game of ambition, power and greed  threatening the fabric of the lawless city of Mirzapur.
