Masaba Gupta is the daughter of the actress who made her mark with her bold and youthful attitude, Neena Gupta. Masaba leads her fashion studio in South Bombay and has also acted herself in her own series Masaba Masaba. She had depicted the turmoil of relationships and the way she finds creativity through the hopeless drama of her life in the end. As the series left us with a cliff-hanger, the news about Masaba Masaba 2 to be produced and directed by women is out.

The fashion designer Masaba Gupta, when was asked about her creativity through the pandemic, replied that the coronavirus pandemic-hit 2020 hasn't impacted her creativity but made her a smarter person. Gupta told PTI, "I'm the same person, I'm just smarter. I have my eye on the ball and I've become very selective about the work I do. I think these are the things that I personally went through as a creative individual."

Gupta further added, "I think there's always a change when something like this, a big world event happens. But I wouldn't say that it has impacted my creativity. I think it made me more creative and work harder. "

For her latest summer collection, Masaba Gupta has resorted to making the clothing collection as user-friendly as possible. She has done experiments to enhance the comfort of the user in the harsh summer and has also resorted to theme the collection in florals and exotic animal prints. She has also added her signature pop colours to the collection.

About the collection, Gupta said, "In a season where we see most people buying resort wear for travelling and when they are not, they are more in the mood for something comfortable. They're more embracing to colour."

Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) and Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI)'s fashion gala ends on Sunday.
