Malayalam Actor Ann Augustine And Husband Headed For Divorce

Malayalam actor Ann Augustine and popular cinematographer Jomon T John have filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. John has filed the petition for the divorce at the Cherthala family court in Kerala. The court has sent a notice to Ann Augustine to appear on February 9 for further proceedings.

The cinematographer stated in his petition that the couple can no more move further in life together. 

Ann Augustine is the daughter of late veteran Malayalam actor Augustine. She made her debut with the movie Elsamma Enna Aankutty in 2010.  The 31-year-old actor is especially popular playing strong characters in movies. Be it her fierce and independent character of Elsamma in her debut movie or the feminist Gayathri in the 2013 movie Artist. She was accorded with the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance for the film.

The same year, she also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Actress Malayalam. Few other popular films of the actor are Nee-Na, Solo, Da Thadiya and Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala.

Jomon T John is a cinematographer known for his work across films in several languages, including Tamil and Hindi.
