South Korean stars Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin, who tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their first child together, as per reports. The baby boy's birth was confirmed in an announcement by singer Taeyang's agency. Hyo-rin in September this year had revealed she was pregnant following rumours of her expecting her first baby.

As per reports, the couple was inclined towards keeping the pregnancy under wraps but ultimately issued a statement after social media buzz brought the news up. The duo was "waiting for the baby with happy hearts," the agency of Hyo-rin, notable for acting in Korean films Sunny, Twenty and Uhm Bok-dong, reportedly said in a note.
Taeyang and Hyo-rin have been in a long-term relationship. They are said to have first met in 2014 on the sets of Taeyang's 1AM music video from his album Rise. Hyo-rin plays the love interest of the singer in the video, which also includes an intimate scene between them that at the time grabbed eyeballs, as per reports.
Taeyang is one of four members of the popular Korean boy band BIGBANG.
Who Is Min Hyo-rin?
Hailing from Daegu in South Korea, Min Hyo-rin stepped into showbiz as a model for brands and music videos. She is also a singer, having released her first album RinZ in 2007. A single Touch Me was released a year later. She starred as a lead in the 2009 television series Triple, her debut, which ran for 16 episodes.
Hyo-rin has multiple other television credits to her name as well, including Dr Champ and The Happy Loner. As a film actor, she has been honoured with several awards.

Her wedding with Taeyang in 2018 was highly publicised, with pictures from the event having gone massively viral on the internet and among fans of the couple. Some fans are even reported to have gathered outside their wedding venue at a Seoul church.
