The series will date back to a regime in which Winslet will be presented in a never seen avatar. The actor who also serves as the executive producer of the show has been involved in the making right from scratch, as per reports.

With the production going on floors, some great developments in the casting are currently taking place, one of the many being bringing Hugh Grant on board. It will be interesting to watch Grant and Winslet share screen space as they were last seen together 27 years back in an entirely different genre, the Jane Austen adaption of Sense and Sensibility.

The series also features British actor Andrea Riseborough of The Grudge and Possessor fame and Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts. The Palace will be Kate Winslet’s fourth series with HBO. The actor won an Emmy for her brilliant performance in her last limited series Mare of Easttown.
