Here's Why David Foster Got 'Annoyed' With Katharine McPhee

Katherine McPhee: Country Comfort actor Katharine McPhee shared why her husband David Foster got 'annoyed'. Katharine McPhee had previously shared her newborn baby's name with the media and it seems that this fact annoyed her husband David Foster.

On the Today show with Hoda Kotb, Katharine McPhee shared her baby's name after Kotb asked her. She revealed her baby boy's name to be Rennie David Foster. Katharine talked about her husband's reaction and her spontaneous reveal in detail in the interview.

Over this McPhee said, "My husband was kind of annoyed. I said, 'What was I supposed to say? Nothing like I'm sorry, we're not sharing the name." She further said, "Cause we don't want to be like that pretentious over the name, but it's the only kind of thing you can hold on to that feels private, that you can kind of keep."

Further, McPhee also mentioned that she is in 'just in complete heaven' since becoming a mother in February. McPhee who is 36 had married David Foster who is 71 in 2019. McPhee mentioned Foster saying, "'It's the only thing we have to keep private.' And I'm like, 'I'm sorry. She asked me the question."

Despite the drama around revealing their son's moniker, McPhee said both she and Foster "love the name." McPhee shared her experience of choosing her baby's name, "It's so original. It came to us, honestly, two hours before he was born. " McPhee further added, "So it's really great. It's a family name, but one of his family members didn't tell us about 'til hours before he was born."

David, already a father of 5 kids with his former partners, welcomed his first child with his wife Katharine McPhee.
