Haseen Dillruba Poster Out: Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey’s Play to Edgy Script

Haseen Dillruba poster out: Taapsee Pannu, who has multiple films lined up this year, has shared a new poster of her upcoming film Haseen Dillruba on social media. She had managed to wrap up the project before the second wave of the pandemic but it was rescheduled. The film will release on July 2.

The murder mystery, which also stars Vikrant Massey, will now see a digital release on Netflix. “Ek shama. Do parwaane. Kya jal mitenge yeh deewaanein? #HaseenDillruba #TheUltimateKaunspiracy," wrote Pannu on Instagram. The film is directed by Vinil Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon. On Monday morning, she took to her IG Stories to announce the arrival of the "ultimate kaunspiracy", dropping a few hints about her character Rani Kashyap. She has shared a glimpse of her intriguing self along with Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in the background in an Instagram post.

"High time! Coz it's been over 15 months! Let the marathon begin...," she wrote sharing the release date of the film with a new stunning poster. Sharing an 8-second long teaser video on Thursday, she had unveiled that her upcoming thriller also features Mirzapur actor Massey and Sanam Teri Kasam actor Rane in pivotal roles.

Dhillon, who is famous for films like Manmarziyan, Kedarnath, Judgemental Hai Kya, and Guilty, is now all set and excited for her next Netflix film, Haseen Dillruba. On Instagram, Dhillon on Sunday said the film will mark her third outing with Pannu. The writer named all the characters Pannu has played in her movies so far, writing that from Rumi to Rashmi to Rani, and more, working with the actor has been special and magical. Read more on when and where you can watch Haseen Dillruba.

Producer Aanand L Rai had previously said in a statement that Haseen Dillruba is a murder mystery within a twisted love story. Last year, the Pink actor had shared a picture from her last day on the sets of the film along with a note in which she had called her character a “self obsessed borderline narcissist”.

She had written, “Here’s to getting ‘pulp fiction’ back on screen with the character you either love to hate or hate to love coz basic toh hum vaise bhi kuch karte nahi hai na.”

In 2021, expect Pannu in a series of new films such as Rashmi Rocket, Shabaash Mithu and Looop Lapeta.
