Apart from her fun personality, there's also a raw, deep side to Sajdeh, which makes her real and humane in front of the viewers. On Friendship

In one of the sequences, the show surfaces a slight tension from the past between Seema Sajdeh and Neelam Kothari, where it's revealed how Sajdeh and Kothari shared an extremely close bond of friendship which lightened over the years owing to misunderstandings and bad timings. Sajdeh, in one of the statements, mentions how friendships mean the world to her. There's a code she follows and always will when it comes to her girls. Her statement speaks true for all of us, who value friendship religiously. She says, "Marriage, a husband, a man, nothing comes in the way with my girls."

On the concept of arranged marriage

In an episode, Sajdeh's closest friend Maheep Kapoor brings Sima Taparia on board, a popular matchmaker known for her Netflix series Indian Matchmaking. Taparia’s talk around marriage, as usual lays maximum emphasis on how sacrifice and compromise are the two pillars of marriage. She also brings alive her famous dialogue, “100 per cent you’ll not get, if it clicks 60-70 per cent, you should go ahead.” Sajdeh, after listening to Tapraia’s advice, says it feels like an “add to cart” kind of a deal, which makes marriage sound like a shopping or business deal.

On separation and divorce

The episode featuring Sima Taparia's visit to Sajdeh's house also gives the audience a detail about Sajdeh's divorce from her husband, actor and producer Sohail Khan. Taparia asked Sajdeh why the two separated. Former replied that their views didn't match and that they started developing compatibility issues. Taparia, stressing over the fact that couples should not give up on marriage after listening to Sajdeh's revelation, asked her why it took her 22 years to find this out, a question Sajdeh found vague. Sajdeh explained how couples can outgrow their compatibility after several years of marriage too. “I was following your formula because we were both trying. It’s not like we didn’t try together. And, when you have children, it’s a different situation," Sajdeh told Taparia.

On singlehood

"Till you're not alone you don't realise the strength you have inside"

In the episode, where Sajdeh and Maheep Kapoor are seen having a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationships, Kapoor asks Sajdeh about her current emotional and mental status post her divorce. Sajdeh, in a significant statement, shares that she is now peaceful more than anything and what people say about her is not something that bothers her anymore. She speaks on inner strength and singlehood post divorce. “I am always the single one and there are always couples around me but I have never felt it. I am managing myself at the age of 45 and cannot tell you how empowering it is. Until you are not alone, you don’t realise the strength you have inside," added Sajdeh.

On being a mother to two boys

"I want my boys to look at me and see strength"

In the first episode, Sajdeh removes the nameplate of her house that read 'Khans' and instead puts the nameplates reading, 'Seema, Nirvan, Yohan' - her name alongside her sons' names. While Nirvan expresses disappointment over the same saying she didn't have to do that, she explains that surnames shouldn't matter in this day and age. In a later episode, Sajdeh shares that it's not easy being a single mother of two children. However, she adds, she wants her children to realise their mother's situation and know that love for them will always be their parent's priority. Sajdeh's statements resonate with all separated parents who try their best to give their children a family life regardless of the situation.
