15YO Owen Cooper Becomes Youngest Male To Win An Emmy Award; See All Winners

The winners for the Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 were announced on September 14. 'Adolescence' star Owen Cooper, 15, has become the youngest-ever actor in the event's history to win the Best Supporting Actor award.

The winners for the Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 were announced on September 14. Owen Cooper, who starred in Netflix's original Adolescence as Jamie Miller, became the youngest male actor ever to win an Emmy, bagging the award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Limited Series or Movie category. "Wow, it's so surreal," the teenager remarked, accepting his award as the crowd roared in cheer.

"Honestly, when I started these drama classes back then, I didn't expect to be winning this award. I think tonight proves that if you learn and focus and step out of your comfort zone, you can achieve anything in life. I'm thankful. I was nothing about three years ago, but I'm here now. It says my name on the statue, but it really belongs to all of the people who worked on the show," Cooper expressed.

Emmy 2025: All Winners

Comedian Nate Bargatze made his debut as an Emmy host this year. He said that this was a dream he had long kept to himself, one that finally came true on this grand stage. The HBO show The Studio has won the highest number of Emmy Awards this year. Severance actor Tramell Tillman became the first Black man to win a Primetime Emmy Award as he grabbed the Outstanding Supporting Actor title in Drama Series.
