A fairytale goes wrong in Disney's first official trailer of the Enchanted sequel titled Disenchanted. Amy Adams returns back as Princess Giselle — but she's a little wicked this time around!

Disenchanted Trailer
The trailer picks up 15 years after Giselle (Adams) and Robert’s (Dempsey) wedding, “but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life,” per the official synopsis.
"If I've learned anything from meeting a princess on a billboard, it's that, sometimes, you just have to take a leap," Robert tells his princess as they depart the city.
But all is not as Giselle would hope, and the eternal optimist struggles to find her happy ever after in the real world, after seeing how easily these things happen in Andalaisa. With some encouragement from Prince Edward (Marsden), Giselle takes things into her own hands and whips up some magic only to go things south.
"I wished for a fairytale life, and it's all gone terribly wrong," Giselle tells Morgan, before changing to a more sinister tone. "Or terribly right."
The trailer further shows her transformation into an evil stepmother after she locks Morgan away in a tower and pushes her down a well. Now, the once-a-sweet Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.
Disenchanted is directed by Adam Shankman. Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz return as the sequel’s songwriters, with Menken also composing the score. The film is produced by Adams, Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfield.
