Dial 100 Review: The much-awaited Manoj Bajpayee starrer Dial 100 released today. Directed by Rensil D’Silva, the crime thriller film features Neena Gupta, Manoj Bajpayee, and Sakshi Tanwar.

The film’s director D’Silva revealed recently that he visited the Mumbai Police Control Room to understand how everything functions in the force and it was an eye-opener for him. According to him, the police personnel have to answer distressing calls every 10 minutes, with complaints ranging from domestic violence to suicide.

It’s a revenge story where Seema (Neena Gupta) to seek vengeance for her son’s death from Nikhil (Manoj Bajpayee) kidnaps his wife Pallavi (Sakshi Tanwar) and son. The film’s official description on OTT says: “One night, one call, can change your lives. Expect the unexpected with Dial 100.”

Announcing the film’s release today, actor Manoj Bajpayee took to Twitter to share about his character and wrote, “Caught between his duties as a police officer and his responsibility as a father, watch Nikhil Sood battle the mysteries of this emergency call in #Dial100, #StreamingNow on #ZEE5.”

Hailing Manoj Bajpayee, one of the users wrote, “The man who never disappoints his fans! Always stands above our expectations. What an actor! Always aspiring, legend!” and also said that the movie is a must watch.

Another viewer praised the film writing, “More than a thriller, it has more of social/emotional undertones. It sets a stage for a quite an intense social and moral drama. And one scene between #SakshiTanwar n @BajpayeeManoj was a stand out for me.”

Praising the scene, another user wrote, “THIS ONE SCENE is going to stay with me for a long looooong time,” demanding a sequel.

One of the viewers calling it a masterpiece, posted the picture of his favourite dialogue from the film in which Bajpayee’s character Sood can be seen saying, “The biggest crime in this country is to be a middle class family.”
