Who Is Dharal Surelia? Architect, Artist Weds Singer Darshan Raval

Darshan Raval surprised his fans on January 18 when he posted pictures of his wedding with his long-time girlfriend Dharal Surelia. The singer shared a post on Instagram, captioning the photos, "My best friend forever." He sported an ivory embroidered sherwani and turban, while his bride opted for a classic red lehenga with colourful motifs and gold embellishments. According to reports, this is the first time that the singer shared this part of his intimate life on a public platform.

Later, Dharal also took to her Instagram page to share photos with her "safe space." Raval was seen in a white Chikankari short kurta-pyjama and jacket, while Surelia wore a rani pink saree with a delicate gold border and a matching pink blouse with green nature-inspired motifs embroidered on it. She completed the look with a statement kundan choker and earrings.

Who Is Dharal Surelia?

According to her Instagram bio, Dharal Surelia is an architect, designer, and colourist. She has attended globally reputed institutions like CEPT University, Ahmedabad; ETH Zürich; and Babson College and Rhode Island School of Design in the United States. She has a Bachelor in Architecture and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Surelia is the founder of Butter Concepts, a design studio based in Ahmedabad. She has previously worked at several design studios and schools, including CEPT. On LinkedIn, she describes herself as "Passionate about all forms of Art & Design be it spaces, products, philosophies or experiences... In the pursuit of fusing the domains of design and entrepreneurship."

Who Is Darshan Raval?

Darshan Raval is a singer and composer from Gujarat who rose to fame in 2014 when he participated in the music competition reality TV show, India's Raw Star. During the maiden season of this show, he finished as the runner-up, winning hearts with his sensational voice and launching his career in Bollywood as a playback singer in 2015.

Raval's Hindi-Gujarati hit song 'Chogada' from Loveyatri propelled him to stardom. He has since sung several chart-topping songs, including 'Kabhi Tumhe' from Shershaah, 'Dhindora Baje Re' from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and 'Soni Soni' from Ishq Vishq Rebound. He also sang 'Needa Padadhani' from the Telugu film, Jersey.
