Amitabh Bachchan's Uunchai Poster Revealed, Check For Release Date

Ahead of his birthday Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan presented his character from the upcoming film Uunchai along with Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. A day before his 80th Birthday, makers shared a poster from the film Uunchai, the same was shared by Goodbye Star on his Instagram handle. 

The poster shows Amitabh Bachchan in a winter look and seems like it is shot in mountains covered with snow. He is donning a coat, brown cap, and spectacles sitting among a group of women. Another poster shows Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher, all together laughing, the background is again snowy mountains and snowfall. Uunchai also features Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Nafisa Ali Sodhi. The film is set to release in theaters on 11th November 2022. Fans seems super excited ever since Uunchai was announced for its unique theme and concept.

Big B shared the poster on his Instagram and captioned it, “This one from rajshri films is special. Meet me as Amit Shrivastava in Uunchai on 11.11.22. This film by Sooraj Barjatya celebrates life and friendship… Save The Date for uunchaithemovie.”

The speculated story plot of Uunchai is a story of three old friends climbing a mountain. Three elderly aged friends take a trip to the Himalayas, which is headed by a tour guide Parineeti Chopra. The film focus on friendship, dreams, and old age.

Sooraj Barjatya directed Uunchai is produced under the banner of Rajshri Productions. This film will mark Sooraj Barjatya's return to films after 7 years. His last film was Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

PVR organised a Film Festival dedicated to his movies to honour Amitabh Bachchan's birthday and completing five decades in the film industry. Bachchan was last seen in Goodbye, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, and Neena Gupta. Currently, he is hosting the 14th season of a popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
