Disney Plus Hotstar recently announced the release of its latest thriller series titled Aar Ya Paar which revolves around an island inhabited by a tribe which becomes the target of powerful people who try to gain control over it against the will of its people.

Disney Plus Hotstar had a great year with many popular original releases in 2022 like Special OPS, Criminal Justice and The Great Indian Murder. As 2022 comes to a close, the OTT platform decided to give its audience a year-end entertaining gift and announced the release of a new original web series Aar Ya Paar. The series is an Edgestorm Ventures LLP production made under the direction of Ankush Mohla and Glen Barretto. The story is of Sidharth Sengupta while Jyoti Sagar is the executive producer.

Aar Ya Paar Plot And Cast

The ">trailer of the show was released in December 2022 and showed a tribe living its life peacefully on an isolated island away from the city and urban population. The tribe hates the outside world and cherishes its own culture and values. However, the tribe comes under the target of some powerful people from the city who get to know that the island has Uranium deposits. The tribe is against them entering their land and hence, they implement force and kill the tribal people in order to take control of the land.

The show is the story of one of the tribal men, played by actor Paresh Rawal's son Aditya Rawal, who sets out to the city to take revenge on the people who killed his loved ones with the help of some other people from the city who extend a helping hand like actor Patralekha and Dibyendu Bhattacharya's characters in the show. The cast of the show also includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Sumeet Vyas, Aasif Sheikh and Shilpa Shukla in pivotal roles.

The show focuses on the exploitation of tribal communities and natural resources by the rich and powerful. The show will release all of its episodes at once on Hotstar on December 30.
