The 8 AM Metro trailer, starring Saiyami Kher and Gulshan Devaiah, is now out. In the trailer for their new love drama 8 A.M. Metro, which Sony Music India published on Wednesday, Saiyami Kher and Gulshan Devaiah's characters form an unusual friendship as they board the metro every day at the same time.
The film's lead actors posted the trailer to Instagram with the message, "Sometimes a simple metro ride can lead to an unforgettable destination."
They described it as a heartwarming story of strangers who experience friendship and bond while riding the metro.
The film is set to release in theatres on May 19, 2023.
8 AM Metro Trailer Out:
Two of the main characters are introduced in the trailer while riding the metro at eight in the morning. In the two minutes and 32 seconds of the trailer, Saiyami Kher's Iravati, a working woman who commutes daily by metro, is introduced to us. She regularly encounters Gulshan's character on the same subway.
The trailer then shows the two characters becoming friends during amiable conversations, with Iravati disclosing her poetry and how frequently she has panic attacks. We also get a glimpse inside Iravati's home, where she resides with her husband and two children. Watch the trailer here.
Iravati is a 29-year-old housewife whose routine life in Nanded gets disrupted when she has to run to Hyderabad to care for her pregnant sister, who is confined to a bed. Fighting off recurrent panic attacks, she turns to Gulshan's Preetam, a banker with more going on than meets the eye. The two go on numerous journeys together, both literal and metaphorical, and find comfort in one another's company.
On May 19, the film will be released in theatres.

Raj R is the director, and Kishore Ganji is the producer of the film. Moreover, Gulzar wrote the poetry that is featured in the movie. Raj described the movie and Gulzar's involvement in it, saying that it is the tale of two strangers who unintentionally cross paths in the metro and form an unlikely friendship, ultimately discovering themselves and one another.
He continued by expressing his sincere gratitude to the legend that is Gulzar Saab and saying that he cannot express how much he appreciates his kind act.
