Tiny Pretty Things is the new series streaming on Netflix. The new series is based on the book written by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton. If you are a fan of Black Swan or Pretty Little Liars, you’ll  definitely like this show.

Here are 10 things to know.

  1. Tiny Pretty Things is set at The Archer School of Ballet, Chicago’s only elite dance school. It serves as the company school for the city’s renowned professional company, City Works Ballet. The school brings dancers from all different backgrounds together.
  2. The series focuses on three ballet dancers: Neveah, Bette, and June. It is a story set in the world of an elite ballet academy and follows these characters as they do whatever it takes to make their dreams a reality.
  3. This first season of the series has 10 episodes.
  4. The series stars Kylie Jefferson, Casimere Jollette, Daniela Norman, Shaun Benson, Brennan Clout, Barton Cowperthwaite, Bayardo De Murguia, Damon J. Gillespie, Anna Maiche and Lauren Holly.
  5. The trailer is breath taking with a mystery and suspense element in it. It focusses on the question about who pushed Cassie Shore from the roof of The Archer School. Every dancer is a suspect, except for Neveah.
  6. The series progresses with the dancers realising the fact that perfection comes at a high price. One mistake or injury could cost them everything.
  7. The series is created by Michael MacLennan who is also the executive producer alongside Kiliaen Van Rensselaer, Jordanna Fraiberg, Deborah Henderson, Gary Fleder, Gabrielle Neimand, and Carrie Mudd. Felder also directed the first episode of the series.
  8. Production companies involved with the series consist of Insurrection Media, Inc., Mojo Films, and Peacock Alley.
  9. The series is predominantly shot in Toronto, Ontario. Some of the scenes were shot in Chicago too.
  10. There is no official information about a second season. However, there is a second book in the Tiny Pretty Things series titled Shiny Broken Pieces.
